To celebrate the launch of the new Special Edition GRAMMY® timepiece gifted to this year’s first-time GRAMMY Award recipients, Bulova and the Recording Academy, hosted a special music event at the GRAMMY Museum® .
The private event set to take place on Saturday, February 9th , featured a special performance by the Queen of Funk herself, Chaka Khan. Considered one of the world’s most gifted and celebrated musicians, Khan’s career spans nearly five decades, selling an estimated 70 million records worldwide. Khan has received twenty-two GRAMMY nominations and has won ten GRAMMY Awards, influencing generations of recording artists.
In addition, the event featured a special performance and DJ set by The Pioneers, composed of hip hop legends Melle Mel and Grandmaster Caz, celebrating their Windows Of Hip Hop charitable initiative that Bulova also supports.
